MSIS performs The Sound of Music at 2019 End Of Year Concert

The hills are alive with the sound of learning, with this fun production of the musical, ‘The Sound of Music, performed by the students of MSIS at Trio for our 2019 annual concert.

Our children took our audience through the adventures of the Von Trapp family and the rest of the cast in the mountains of Austria.

These performances included all of the famous songs such as My favourite things and Do Re Me sang by our Pathways, Foundation 2 and Early Years children.

At MSIS, inclusion and independence is the goal we want to work towards for students with disabilities, so the visual and performing arts is our magic carpet to help our students get there. Not only do the arts provide the necessary skills for students with disabilities to express themselves, they can also help to lead to jobs in the arts industry.

We are so exceptionally proud of each and every one of our students and we look forward to continuing to watch all of you grow in your own unique ways!
